Water Droplet

Along with their new business logo, MNWC needed a vector image that allowed them to use on some of their corporate products, including banners and other design products that were restricted in their colours. The droplet is made up of 3 different colours.

Hands to Heal Wellness Centre is a joint venture with Melbourne Natural Wellness Clinic. The two clinics wanted a similar business card and website to showcase this bond. The business cards allow the practitioners name and clients next consultation to be written on the front of the card. The back incorporates their logo with all their different modalities.

Theme:
Kinky, Warming and inviting
Style:
Dark, yet warm. Orange filter to create warmth to create a glowing illusion at the bottom of the shot and to highlight the handcuffs (make them shine). Also used to create an alter state of mind (people are used to light coming from top to bottom.
Lighting:
Darken the background and add a glowing effect to bring out the handcuffs and make it more inviting. Also, to sharpen the handcuffs and add the slogan "Forget the control word?"
Effects:
To sharpen the handcuffs and add a glowing filter to the photo to strengthen the light and colour of the handcuffs. As well as adding a orange filter over the image to give it a warm effect, to add some font to the bottom of the image to sell the slogan.
Editing:
To improve her skin tone, remove any pimples or bruises. Fix up the hair line and remove any stray hairs. Change the eye colour to blue and improve the quality of the image.
Intention:
For the ad to be warm and inviting. To show that kinky toys are not for a dark and dirty environment, its something used in every day situations. To add some art / Conceptual with the metal bars to capture the attention of the audience.

Dark background with a soft glow to highlight the features of the face
Effects:
Creating a calm and warm feel to the photo, highlighting the subject by a light skin tone compared to a black background.
Editing:
To improve her skin tone, remove any pimples or bruises. Fix up the hair line and remove any stray hairs. Change the eye colour to blue and improve the quality of the image.
Intention:
Demonstrate how you can improve the quality of the image and fix up any pimples, skin tone or any other skin irritation that spoil the photo. Resulting in the subject becoming more photogenic and stand out more.

Create a cold feel to the photo, giving it a eerie Melbourne winter's feel
Editing:
To crop the image into a 16:9 design, add a blue filter to create a cold theme, as well as highlighting the clouds to emphasis the coldness of the photo. As well as removing any people, traffic or rubbish on the street, and to remove any posters or rubbish that interrupt the photo.
Intention:
To show how you can achieve the effect of the photo by adding a filter and emphasizing different areas of the photo. In this photo, to add a blue filter to add a cold feel to the city, and to create an empty effect by removing any cars or people.

Isolation, bright, over exposed, glowing colours.
Style:
Wide Angle shot, Long shot of the bridge that Brendan will be standing on with Brendan only taking up a small portion of the image, yet being the main focus of the photo.
Lighting:
Bright background, with the lighting taking the focus off Brendan, creating a dark figure.
Effects:
A glowing background with a dark and cold foreground creating a contrast between the two.
Editing:
To remove any other people throughout the photo and any other objects in the bridge Brendan will be standing on. The background to be lighten up and the foreground to become shiny, yet dark.
Intention:
With Brendan being the main character of the photo, he will need to stand out, without compromising the intention of the photo. Through this it will create a lone figure in the middle of two building that is trapped between the two.
Year Book Design - 2004

The cover design is an unofficial design for Penola Catholic College's 2004 year book. The design reflects on student's life at the college, with a collection of different buildings used by the students to study, relax and play. A number of teachers and staff are on the cover to remind us of the help and opportunities they gave us.

I was ask to create a year book cover for my high school. The theme was unity, brining the two different campus together in a global setting. I went around both campus taking shots of the buildings, students and some events. The end result is a global network of the two campus and the one world they make up.
